A new era. What about education?
Three perspectives on what kind of human beings we want to educate in a world transformed by artificial intelligence.
Octavio De Lamo, Henrique Fernando Salas Römer, and Juan Diego Humpierres meet in Miami for a televised forum connecting education, leadership, and human development. Octavio brings his expertise in education and a long track record founding and leading educational institutions. Henrique Fernando brings his experience in politics and public management to address the challenges of successful leadership in times of transformation. Juan Diego draws on applied neuroscience and human development to explore how we think, feel, learn, and adapt to change.
Artificial intelligence invites us to rethink what we teach and why. How can we take advantage of its possibilities without giving up our own judgment? What place should human and emotional intelligence hold in an education that must cultivate understanding, empathy, creativity, and responsibility?
The forum looks at the human being emerging from this transformation: which learning habits and models must be left behind, which capabilities need strengthening, and how schools, families, and institutions can support that path.
The end of this civilization, or an opportunity to redefine it?
An open question to debate what we want to preserve of our humanity and what future we are willing to build.
